Covid19: Lordina Foundation supports residents and health facilities in Osudoku

The Paramount Queen mother, Manye Amponsah Dokua with the support of the Lordina Foundation has donated some food items and medical supplies to health facilities and residents in Osudoku.
The items presented included veronica buckets, hand sanitizers, face masks, bp apparatus, toiletries, detergents, surgical gloves, baby cots, bags of rice, cooking oil and bottled water.
Making the presentations, the Queen Mother indicated that the donation was to aid in mitigating the plight of residents during this Covid-19 period.
She urged the residents to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 protocols to ensure they stay safe. The Queen Mother took the opportunity to pledge the support of all Queen Mothers in the country and their willingness to assist the Government curb this pandemic.
Madam Benedicta Adewuti, the Osudoku Sub-District Head of Health Service received the items and thanked the Lordina Foundation and the Queen Mother for the timely intervention.
Madam Adewuti, expressed worry over the high rate of indiscipline on the part of some motor riders during this covid-19 pandemic period. She said these riders and pillions fail to protect themselves and therefore stand the bigger risk of contracting the virus and spreading the same to unsuspecting persons.
She encouraged residents to practice personal hygiene and urged them to desist form stigmatizing against persons coming back to the community from health centers, explaining that such actions could prevent others from seeking testing and early treatment.
