Visit to Gambaga GO Home Project (Alleged Witches Camp) by Lordina Foundation
The Team visited the Gambaga GO Home Project (Alleged Witches Camp) on the 11th of December 2018. The Gambaga GO Home Project is a segregated community within the Gambaga Township established to provide a “safe haven” to women who have been accused as witches in their various communities.
The Lordina foundation has over the years worked closely with the Management of the Camp to help provide these unfortunate women their basic needs.
The Team led by Rev Stephen Wengam, Board Chair of the Foundation presented numerous items including rice, sugar, cooking oil, drinks cloths, clothes and many more to assist with their upkeep. The Coordinator, Mr Samson Laar, on behalf of the old women expressed his profound gratitude to the Lordina Foundation for its assistance over the years stressing that the items presented will be used for it intended purpose.
